As much as we nurture our Students and celebrate our Teachers, we at R. N. Podar always strive to contribute to the Community in our own way. In our vision for a better society, we hope that every child who walks through the portals of our school is actively involved in community building and emerges as a Changemaker.

On this Teacher’s Day, we have reached out to all students, alumni & parents to help us give back to our Teachers & Staff who rely on Mumbai’s lifeline; the train services every day. Their journey to school is never exciting or refreshing, given the current state of Mumbai’s railway stations.

SHS (Hamara Station Hamari Shaan) as the moniker goes, is a beautification programme being held during the Joy of Giving Week (from 2-8 Oct,2016) which includes giving a new look & feel to the entire railway station premises including staircases, foot over bridges (FOBs), booking windows and area adjoining the entrances, signages and platforms. The paintings aim to give railway stations a scenic, soothing colour and look with a theme and design which resonates with each station and the surrounding geography.
